The Bobcat lives in the Temperate woodlands.

THE BOBCAT:

-smallest member of the lynx group

-two to four feet long

-fur has small dark spots, and is reddish-brown or brownish-gray in color

-can run 15mph

-can leap 12 feet

-very territorial

-eats mostly hare, squirrels, chipmunk, rodents, birds, opossum, shew, porcupines, gophers, and sometimes deer

-live in southern Canada, the United States, and some areas of Mexico

-live in scrubby country, swamps, arid lands, and woodlands
