Ecological Problem

Not alive, not dead....

The temperate woodlands experience hot, dry summers, and cool, and moist winters. The hot summers exclude any plants that need constant water, like rainforest plants. The temperature can range from -30C to 30C. It has thin, nutrient-poor soils. This effects what kinds of plants can grow and live in this biome. It experiences periodic fires, which means that the plants have to be strong enough to survive one of these, in order to grow here.
