The Red Fox is one of many other animals to live in the temperate woodlands.

THE RED FOX:

-Distiguished by black ears and feet ant the tip of their tail is white

-Fur is normally rusty red ir reddish-brown

-Great sense of sight, hearing, and smell allows them to live close to humans without being noticed easily

-Fast but has short legs

-smallest of the canine family

-Can adapt to many different climates and habitats

-Can run up to a speed of 48km per hour

-Rarely live longer than 5 years

-Can live up to 12 years

-May have 5-6 cubs, only about 2-3 survive

-Omnivores, the red fox eats small animals, birds, fruit, and any food left by humans
